Xyleutes dictyograpta

Diagnosis.
This is one of the smaller Bornean species, with reticulations of blackish brown on a pale grey ground. There is a diagnostic, roughly triangular dark area on the forewing dorsum and a submarginal row of slightly more substantial square striae. The hindwing is much more distinctly striate than in euphyes.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The species has been taken in the lowlands on Brunei, most commonly in mangrove forest but also in swamp forest at Badas and dry heath forest at Telisai.
