Diagnosis.
The forewing is bone grey with a diffuse, shallowly oblique, broad, blackish band running from the basal third of the costa to the margin at one third from the tornus. The basal half of the forewing is bisected by two black streaks enclosing a white or very pale brown one.

Geographical range. Sundaland.

Habitat preference. In the Mulu survey three specimens were taken in alluvial forest and one in kerangas. In Brunei the species was recorded mostly from swamp forest areas but also in lowland dipterocarp forest and mangrove.
