Taxonomic notes. This is the most likely contender for the Bornean Birthama nigrina Hering
(see Birthama rubicunda Walker) and is therefore given the same name.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species flies in lowland rainforest particularly
swamp forest.
