Diagnosis. The forewing pattern is much more irregular than in latistriga, and
the scaling of the hindwing subdorsal cleft in the male is pale straw as is the
rest of the wing and that of the female. The forewing postmedial is edged
whitish distad, and has a similar oblique bar of ochreous yellow running from it
to the margin at the apex.
Geographical range. Borneo, ?New Guinea (a female labelled '?Angabunga').
Habitat preference. This species is also only known from G. Kinabalu,
from 1500m to 2110m.
