19mm. This species resembles Z. aureata or Z. marginata in
facies but is larger, less yellow in tinge, with somewhat broader borders to the
wings. It is best distinguished by the ventral arms of the valves. These are
broader than in the other species and lucidata, with the subapical
processes larger, particularly that in the right valve which is much more deeply
based. The process on the left arm is more rounded.

Paratype . BRUNEI: 15m, Telisai, Sandy
heath forest and Gymnostoma, Apr. 81 (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen).
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference. Both Bornean specimens are from the lowlands.
Material from Sulawesi was from 1000m and above.
