Diagnosis.
See Diarsia flavostigma Holloway.

Taxonomic notes. Sundanian material is referable to ssp. postpallida Prout.

Geographical range.
N.E. Himalaya, China to Sundaland, the Philippines and Sulawesi.

Habitat preference.
The species is common above 1900 m on G. Kinabalu but has been taken as low as 1200m. It has been taken at 1670m on Bukit Pagon, Brunei.
