Diagnosis.
The semicircular black marginal zone in combination with irregular fasciation
more basally on the forewing is distinctive.
Geographical
range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (Barlow Colln), Sumatra, Thailand (VK).
Habitat
preference. The species is infrequent in lowland and lower montane forest
up to 1620m. Two specimens have been taken in stunted hill forest at each of
900m and 1200m on Bukit Monkobo in Sabah, and the highest records are from G.
Kinabalu.
