Diagnosis.
This and the next species have the anterior arc of the forewing submarginal
enclosing a dark brown area at the margin. In costimacula this
area is shorter and the pale arc of the submarginal is more strongly curved. The
male genitalia are similar to those of the previous two; the valve apex is
rounded, but the valve is broadest centrally; the flap on the dorsal side of the
pleat is rounded but short.
Geographical
range. Taiwan,
Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Only a single male has been recorded, from alluvial forest with
limestone present at 70m at Long Pala near the foot of G. Mulu.
