Diagnosis.
This is a smaller species than quadrinotata, with the postmedial fasciae slightly more sinuous.
The hindwing has a black spot at the centre of the margin as on the forewing;
this is absent in quadrinotata.
Geographical
range. Borneo, Singapore, Peninsular Malaysia
(Barlow Colln), ?Burma (Tenasserim).
Habitat
preference. The holotype was collected by A.R. Wallace in Sarawak. Two
other Bornean specimens have been seen, one from Paku in Sarawak and one from
lowland forest at 300m in the Ulu Temburong of Brunei.
