Diagnosis.
See the previous species and the next. The pale, rather ochreous fawn ground
colour, weak subbasal and strong apical brown mark of the forewing are
distinctive.
Geographical
range. Philippines,
Sulawesi, Sumatra, Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (Barlow Colln), New Guinea to
Solomons.
Habitat
preference. The species is frequent in various lowland forest types,
including heath forest, and one specimen was taken in montane scrub at 1500m on
the limestone G. Api.
