Tamba euryodia Prout, 1932, Bull. Hill Mus. Witley, 4: 275.

Tamba euryodia

Diagnosis
. The ground colour is similar to that of ochra, but the hindwing and much of the medial and dorsal area of the forewing has this largely obscured by areas of various shades of mauve-grey within which the orbicular of the forewing and the discal mark of the hindwing are conspicuous. The ground colour is restricted to the basal zone and an extensive apical rectangle on the forewing, these areas being finely fasciated in darker brown that also delineates the venation.

Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra (HS / ZSM), Borneo, Thailand (VK).

Habitat preference. The only Bornean specimen is from dipterocarp forest on limestone at 270m on the slopes of G. Api.
