6mm. The forewing markings are very reduced, punctate except for a narrow, obliquely triangular mark medially on the costa. The male genitalia have narrow valves with a sinuous costal margin and a ventral one that is evenly curved over the distal half. These margins meet at an upwardly falcate, acute apex. The harpe is similar to that of
cowleyi but slightly narrower and more hooked. The aedeagus is also similar to that of cowleyi.

Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunong Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D.Holloway et al.), Site 6, January, Gunong Mulu, 2360m. 467465, low summit scrub, BM noctuid slide 17260.

Paratype . Data as holotype.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The specimens are from the summit zone of G. Mulu which supports a low, shrubby, mainly ericaceous thicket.
