Diagnosis. The facies is very similar to that of
euryzonata,
but there is a pronounced blackish antemedial band that tapers from the costa to
the dorsum.
Taxonomic note. The facies and male abdomen of
nephodes
(Taiwan) indicate conspecificity with lucidalis.
Geographical range. Borneo, Java, Philippines, Indian Subregion, Taiwan.
Habitat preference. The holotype of lucidalis was taken in Sarawak by
A.R. Wallace, probably in the lowlands. A further specimen has been taken at
about 600m in the vicinity of G. Trus Madi.
