Diagnosis.
The forewing ground is dark yellow, that of the hindwing paler yellow. The forewing is variably shaded with grey, in a broad U-shaped manner or more extensively as illustrated.

Taxonomic note. The male genitalia are unusual, with spines arising from the sacculus base of each valve. The aedeagus vesica has two serrate flanges on each side near its base. The abdomen has tymbals. The forewing venation is typical for the tribe except for M1 being slightly stalked with R5. Females are not known.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The holotype is from 1500m on the Pinosuk Plateau of G. Kinabalu. Three further males have been taken at 1670m on Bukit Pagon in Brunei.
