Diagnosis.
The forewing postmedial white bar is more irregular than in similar species, usually extending to the dorsum. The hindwing border is broken into a series of ellipses on the veins, stopping short of the dorsum on vein CuA2.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. On Kinabalu the species is infrequent from 1200m to 2100m. Two specimens were taken at round 1800m in upper montane forest on G. Mulu.

Biology. The species flies by day and also comes to light at night.
