Lemyra ypsilon

Diagnosis.
The wings are pale cream colour, the antemedial fascia broader than the postmedial, often fused with it over the posterior half.

Taxonomic notes. Holloway (1982) noted minor differences in male genitalia for specimens from the various islands included in the range. In Bornean material the postmedial is more strongly flexed anteriorly (cf. specimen illustrated by Barlow (1982)) than in Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatran material, and somewhat more so than in the Javan type specimen.

Geographical range. Sundaland.

Habitat preference. The species was frequent in lower montane forest at 1000m on G. Mulu, Sarawak, with one specimen taken at 500m in hill dipterocarp forest.
