Diagnosis. This is a robust, black species. The abdomen is completely black, the
hindwing has a small transparent spot anterior of centrally (lacking in Bornean
material). The distal two thirds of the forewing are transparent, yellowish but
for a black discal bar and a black apical zone and wedge on CuA2 on the border.
Taxonomic notes. The valves of the male genitalia are similar apically to those of the
next species, quadrate, with the distal angles produced.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The two Bornean specimens lack locality data.
