Caeneressa robusta Holloway comb. n.

Eressa robusta Holloway, 1976: 1.

Caeneressa robusta (paratype)

Diagnosis.
This differs from the next species in the greyer tone to the dark areas of the wings, the more even width to the forewing border (the more anterior transparent patches extend further distally than the central ones rather than vice versa), and the abdomen is ringed pale at two thirds (the lateral pale patches extend distally to this ring and not beyond, but form a complete row in the next species).

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. All specimens have been taken at light at night on G. Kinabalu at altitudes between 1500m and 2000m. The species is rare.
