Zeuzera borneana Roepke
Zeuzera
borneana Roepke,
1957: 14.
Diagnosis. The forewings are rather sparsely but regularly invested with relatively
broad black striae; black markings are more intense at the margins. The
hindwings have a regular array of marginal black spots rather than a
concentration of these at the marginal excavation.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. During the Mulu survey the species was taken in
alluvial forest apart from one specimen in lowland limestone forest. However, in
Brunei, three specimens have been taken in upper montane forest on Bukit
Retak.
