Diagnosis.
The species
is most easily confused with ochrirubra Holloway but has a more evenly
spaced orange banding along the forewing dorsum and two dark red dots at the
tornus.
Geographical
range. Sundaland.
Habitat
preference. Several
specimens have been taken in lowland localities in Brunei, mainly in rainforest,
and there is an older specimen in the BMNH from G. Mulu in Sarawak. A rather
worn male was taken in upper montane forest at 1670m on Bukit Pagon, Brunei.
