Diagnosis.
The
wings are bright orange-yellow, finely speckled with red, with darker
flecks subcostally in the postmedial areas of both wings and dark basal
zones.
Geographical
range. Peninsular
Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Three
specimens have been taken in recent surveys: in swamp forest at Daerah
Belait, Brunei; in lower montane forest at 1000m on G. Mulu and at 250m in
dipterocarp forest on the slopes of the limestone G. Api. The second and
third records are from the G. Mulu National Park, Sarawak.
