Diagnosis. The facies, as described in the generic account, is unmistakable.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is infrequent in lowland forest. During
the Mulu survey it was taken mainly in kerangas, alluvial forest and
forest on limestone, extending as high as 900m (one specimen) on the last.
