Diagnosis. This is a robust greyish brown species with a strong forewing discal spot as in Collix and relatives, though the moderately conspicuous postmedials of both wings are angled centrally. The underside is more greyish, with discal spots, postmedials and a submarginal band broad, dark grey, conspicuous.

Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra.

Habitat preference. The original material was from the Baram region in lowland Sarawak. The illustrated specimen was taken in primary lowland forest at 170m near the Danum Valley Field Centre, Sabah.
