Diagnosis. The
largest Bornean species, plenorbis has a very large forewing ocellus and
a diagnostically dark brown abdomen.
Geographical
range. Peninsular
Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. The
species is most frequent in lowland forest, but singletons have been taken at
1200m on G. Kinabalu and at 1780m on G. Mulu.
