Diagnosis. The fasciae
are irregular, those on the hindwing particularly sinuous in their course; the
forewing postmedial contains black flecks on the veins.
Taxonomic
notes. The
holotype male has lost its abdomen, so the Bornean specimen is matched on facies
characters only.
Geographical
range. Peninsular
Malaysia, S. Burma, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. A
male was taken in the understorey of hill dipterocarp forest at 140m on the
lower slopes of G. Mulu and another in a similar situation near the Danum Valley
Field Centre in Sabah.
