Diagnosis. See S. vacuata
Guenée.
Taxonomic notes. This is the montane sister-species of vacuata, distinguished
on genitalic features as described under that species.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. S. subdecorata is much rarer than vacuata, recorded
from 1620m on G. Kinabalu and 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei. The holotype female
is from G. Mulu, but the species was not recorded during the more recent survey.
