Diagnosis. See the previous species. The facies is a paler greyer purple, the
yellow fasciae fine but neat. The male hindwing is triangular.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Hong Kong, Burma, Peninsular Malaysia,
Java, Bali, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The few Bornean specimens seen are from lowland,
lower montane and upper montane zones, the highest record being from 1790m on G.
Mulu.
