Diagnosis. The
facies is distinctive, with fawn wings speckled darker and crossed by fine dark
brown fasciae. The oblique postmedial of the forewing converges diagnostically
with the much finer sinuous submarginal near the apex of the wing.
Taxonomic
notes. The
Bornean race is ssp. fastosa Prout.
Geographical
range. Sundaland.
Habitat
preference. Only
recorded from G. Kinabalu, the species occurs infrequently over the range
1500-1930m.
