Diagnosis. The speckled straw-coloured wings are traversed by two broad, pale grey
bands, somewhat oblique on the forewing, where the more distal one contains
pairs of black marks at the dorsum and one third from the costa. The hindwing
has a small white discal spot, ringed finely with black.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya to Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is rare, known from G. Kinabalu (1500m
and 1720m), with a single female taken on G. Mulu at 1790m.
