Diagnosis. The species is distinctive with pale fawn, faintly fasciated wings, the
forewing with a dark brown discal spot and costal marks, its area very much
greater than that of the hindwing.
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat preference. The species is frequent in upper montane forest and
has been recorded over an altitude range of 1500-2600m.
