Diagnosis. The heavy dark grey fasciation of the forewings and the triangular, dark
grey hindwings distinguish triangularis from other members of the Sauris
group of genera. The female is unknown, but probably has hindwings that are
more normal in shape.
Geographical range. Sundaland.
Habitat preference. Two specimens have been taken at 1618m on Bukit Retak,
Brunei. A third Bornean example seen is from G. Matang in Sarawak, and the
species was recorded from Kinabalu by Prout (1932c).
