Abraxas
invasata Warren
Abraxas invasata Warren, 1897, Novit. zool. 4: 87.
Abraxas invasata Warren; Holloway, 1976: 84 (fig 661).
Diagnosis. Compared with the next species, the forewing discal patch is usually
separate, rarely fused with the costal black marking and hardly ever with the
postmedial marking. On the hindwing the submarginal spots are rounded rather
than angular, and less frequently united with the marginal ones. The names in
Holloway (1976) were transposed in error on Curbia
Warren.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Records have only been from G. Kinabalu and from G.
Api in Sarawak in lower and upper montane zones.
Biology. The species mostly flies by day but may also come to light at night.
