Diagnosis. This species is similar to bipardaria but with paler ground
colour so the fasciae are more conspicuous. The fasciae are narrower, the
forewing subbasal more broken. The genitalia are also similar but the cornutus
is stouter, less curved.
Geographical range. Borneo. A female from Marang, S.E. Sumatra, is
probably monopardaria.
Habitat preference. This is a rare species of lowland forest.
