Diagnosis. See the previous species.
Taxonomic notes. A male from Java (slide 15546) resembling the holotype female of ocellata
in fades, nevertheless has genitalia more as in transgrisea, than as
in Bornean ocellata. The aedeagus vesica has a cluster of needle-like
spicules in addition to the large cornutus, itself more elongate than in transgrisea.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. S. transgrisea is sympatric with S. ocellata in upper
montane forest.
