Dasyboarmia pilosissima sp. n.
Dasyboarmia pilosissima
(paratype) |
|
21-22mm.
The upperside facies is much as in isorrhopa but the pale hindwing
submarginal is somewhat more prominent. The major differences are on the
underside where postmedial fasciae, conspicuous in isorrhopa, are absent,
but the hindwing is completely covered in a rich chocolate coloured pilosity. In
the genitalia the uncus is longer than the gnathus, spatulate, the right costa!
process of the valve tapering rather than rectangular, and the left costa!
process more strongly curved. The distal cornuti of the aedeagus vesica are
fewer, shorter.
