38-40mm. The forewing costal band is a darker, duller brown than in the
other two species such that the wings are more uniform. The marginal pale
patches on the underside are more obscured. The male genitalia have the costal
processes more as in embolima. The saccular process is distally very much
shorter, basally more lobed than in pseudobolima.

Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. This species is rarer than the previous but occurs
over a similar altitude range.
