Diagnosis. This species is a more ochreous brown than its congeners.
Taxonomic notes. This and the next species share possession of a pair of slightly
corematous patches of hairlike setae on the basal sternite (1+2) of the male
abdomen, just posterior to the tympanic cavi.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. During the Mulu survey a few specimens were taken on
the transect of G. Mulu: one at 150m and one at 500m in hill dipterocarp forest;
three at 1000m in lower montane forest. Several have also been taken at 100m on
G. Santubong, Sarawak.
