Diagnosis. The wings are dark brown and fawn speckled with dark brown. The
forewings have the costal half broadly fawn but with two oblique dark brown bars
at the costa subapically.
Taxonomic notes. The costal zone is less clearly distinguished by pale colour than in the
type species. In the male genitalia the valve is apically more narrow, the setae
from the subbasal process slender, not blade-like. The spines from the juxta are
longer, more sinuous.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Known only from G. Murud and G. Kinabalu, the species
is rare, recorded between 1620m and 1920m.
