Diagnosis. The bidentate postmedials distinguish the species from similar small
grey ennomines such as Alcis pammicra Prout.
Taxonomic notes. The male genitalia in New Guinea material (ssp. farinosa stat.
n.) have the valve narrower apically from the spined flange.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo; New Guinea.
Habitat preference. The species is infrequent in lowland rainforest,
including records from heath forest.
