Diagnosis. See the generic description: the combination of extensive orange
irroration, fine, black fasciae and marginal pale patches is diagnostic.
Taxonomic note. The holotype female from Burma is larger than the only specimen of that
sex from Borneo, with the marginal pale patches indistinct. The markings
otherwise are similar.
Geographical range. Burma, Borneo.
Habitat preference. All the specimens seen are from a narrow range of
altitude in the vicinity of G. Kinabalu: two from 1530m, 1km south of Kundasan
(in USNM, Washington); one from Mesilau (1500m), one from Kinabalu Park H.Q.
(1620m) amongst the material catalogued by Holloway (1976) but not identified at
that time.
