Ectropis recticomata
Swinhoe, 1903, Fasc. Malay (Zool.), 1: 90.
Diagnosis. The wings are pale brown, the medial zones of both paler between fine
dark brown fasciae. The dorsum of the male hindwing is produced and contains a

locality of recticomata has not been located but is probably in the
vicinity of the Malaysian/Thai border).
Habitat preference. The species is uncommon, mostly taken in lowland
forest habitats during the Mulu survey except for a single male from 1000m on G.
