12mm. This species is only tentatively linked with the parvularia group,
sharing the diagnostic kink at the base of the saccular process of the male
genitalia. The wing margins are strongly bowed, the fasciation and shading of
dull, dark brown on a fawn ground as illustrated, the postmedials of both wings
relatively basal in position. In the male abdomen the coremata are in the same
position as in Ectropidia fimbripedata. The uncus is long, slender,
tapering, the gnathus weak, straplike. The juxta is broad. The valve costa has
arising from its ventral margin narrow flaps subbasally and subapically. The
valve apex is acute. The saccular process is rod-like, two thirds the length of
the valve, terminating in a tuft of spines. The aedeagus is short, the vesica
with several clumps of spines.
