10-11mm. This species is externally very similar to N. semiparata except
the hindwing medial zone is more obscured with dark shading. In the male
genitalia the tegumen is straight between the ‘shoulders’ rather than
trilobed. The costa of the valve has a central complex of setose lobes, the
saccular process is straight rather than curved, spoon-like, and the juxta is
slender, elongate, tongue-like, apically coarsely scobinate.

forest, BM geometrid slide 10433.
Paratype: 1 as
holotype, BM geometrid slide 10453.
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (FRIM collection),
Sumatra (Sato slide RS-2726).
Habitat preference. Both specimens are from lower montane forest at 900m
on limestone.
