minuta Warren
Chiasmia minuta Warren, 1905, Novit. zool., 12: 433.
Diagnosis. This and the next species have a similar facies of punctate or broken
dark brown fasciae on yellow. In minuta the hindwing postmedial and
antemedial closely enclose the discal spot, whereas the former is well separated
from it and more fragmented in the next species. The marginal bands are more
clearly interrupted by a yellow bar centrally in minuta. The genitalic
differences are as illustrated.
Geographical range. Borneo, ?Sumatra.
Habitat preference. The few specimens seen have been from lowland forest,
with one record from mangrove.
