Diagnosis. The arcuate red markings on grey of the forewing and the irregularly
lunulate white discal mark of the hindwing distinguish this species.
Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference. During the Mulu survey the only three specimens were
taken in lowland (250m) and lower montane (900m) forest on the limestone of G.
Api. One specimen was taken at 1620m on G. Kinabalu and one at 1618m on Bukit
Retak, Brunei. Two others have been taken in the lowlands of Brunei.
