Orthocabera conspicua Warren,

Myrteta ocernaria eumytha Prout,

Diagnosis. See the previous species.
Taxonomic notes. The taxa conspicua and eumytha from Sulawesi are
synonymous and best treated as a race of ocernaria. The race is slightly
larger, with paler fringes and a more rounded, less angled hindwing, but in male
genitalia it is not distinguished from typical ocernaria. The S. Moluccan
O. cymodegma Prout comb. n. has facies as in the similaria group
but genitalia features as in ocernaria including absence of the setal
comb on sternite 3.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Sundaland; Sulawesi (ssp. conspicua).
Habitat preference. The only specimens seen have been from lowland areas
of S. Kalimantan (Samarinda, Pulo Laut).
