Cassyma erythrodon Sommerer
& Stüning, 1992, Heterocera Sumatrana 7:17.
Diagnosis. The species resembles C. chrotodon in having a distinct forewing
discal mark, but the fasciae and general striation of the wings are rich brown
rather than blackish, the former weak, tending to obscurity near the costa of
the hindwing and distal to the discal mark on the forewing.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The single specimen is from lowland rain forest at
300m in Brunei.
