Diagnosis. The facies is distinctive, as described in the generic account.
Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra.
Habitat preference. During the Mulu survey a number of specimens were
taken in lower montane forest (1000m) on the transect of G. Mulu. The species
has also been taken infrequently in the lowlands of Brunei, mostly from
localities with swamp or heath forest. Other localities include G. Matang,
Sandakan, Labuan and Samarinda.
