Diagnosis. See the generic account. The combination of angled wing margins and the
pale-blotched pinkish brown facies is diagnostic.
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat preference. The species is rare. Five specimens were taken on the
transect of G. Mulu: two in hill dipterocarp forest at 150m; three in
lower montane forest at 1000m. It has been taken in secondary forest at Brumas
in Sabah by Mr Chey Vun Khen.
