Probithia
imprimata Walker stat. rev.
Acidalia imprimata Walker,
1861, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus., 23: 771.
Probithia exclusa Walker sensu Holloway, 1976: 78,
Diagnosis. Facies
characters distinguishing this and exclusa are noted above. In the male
genitalia there is a minor difference in the setation of the lobe on the dorsal
arm of the valve: in imprimata here are fewer ranks of setae, aligned
parallel to the margin, rather than extending more obliquely.
Geographical
range. Borneo,
Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat
preference. This
species has also mostly been recorded from lowland forest, but one specimen was
taken in upper montane forest on G. Mulu.
